About CIS

Welcome to the Vermont Children’s Integrated Services (CIS) Blog. Here you will find news about Children’s Integrated Services, Family Stories, Helpful Links, CIS Calendar and Information about Professional Development opportunities.

Vermont created the Children’s Integrated Services Program to make sure every child, every pregnant woman, and every family with young children has the opportunity to succeed. The Children’s Integrated Services Program is a resource for families when they have questions or concerns about their child’s development during pregnancy infancy and early childhood. CIS is inclusive of early childhood mental health, early intervention, nursing,  family support and specialized childcare.

If you have any information you would like to share with the CIS community that visits this blog than please send a message to rachel.smith@vermont.gov with the subject area titled “Blog Post”.

The list of CIS Child Care Coordinators can be found on the CDD web site at: http://dcf.vermont.gov/cdd/cis/providers
Click the CIS Specialized Child Care heading on the page and you will find the list of Coordinators.

Slight correction: The CIS Child Care Coordinators list is under “Contacts” on this main web link above. Information about CIS Specialized Child Care is accessed by clicking the CIS Specialized Child Care heading.
