- Thursday, Lindsey Godwin: Lindsey is a Professor of Management at the Robert P. Stiller School of Business at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont, where she serves as the Director of the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry. Lindsey will present her keynote presentation called: Leadership Lessons from a 4-Year-Old: Ask more questions
- Friday, Mike Lanza: Mike is the author of Playborhood: Turn Your Neighborhood Into a Place for Play. Mike’s keynote is titled: Third Places for Kids
- Saturday, Courtney Waring: Courtney is Director of Education at The Carle, and creates and conducts a wide array of programs, providing links between visual and verbal literacy and fostering the confidence to appreciate and enjoy art of every kind. During the Saturday morning keynote, Courtney will present: The Whole Book Approach

Thursday – During the lunch hour The Permanent Fund for Vermont’s Children will present the 2017 Early Educator of the Year Award to a center-based early childhood professional. 4:30 p.m. VAEYC/VHSA will host a Mix and Mingle. Come meet our boards and other early childhood professionals. Enjoy food and drink with your colleagues. Free event. Cash bar. Friday – Offers two exciting on-site events: 7:30-8:30 a.m. VAEYC’s annual membership breakfast and meeting from. Free to all VAEYC members. During the lunch hour Mike Lanza will host a book signing.
